JavaSources.com Getting Started

If you have a personal computer, an internet connection, and some spare time
then you can learn how to program with Java.

This is what you need to do:

  1. Read a Java programming reference
  2. Download one of the Sun Java Development Kits (JDK) at the Sun Downloads site.
  3. (Optional) Download a Java Development Environment like netBeans or Eclipse
  4. Program and enjoy!
